OTHER WAYS TO HELP

Introducing children to music during one of the most
integral phases of growth and development

VOLUNTEER

KeyNote and its family of music education programs depend on volunteers to maintain high quality experiences for our musicians, families, patrons and donors. We welcome the support of friends, alumni, parents and donors to volunteer in many roles including:

  • Serving on committees such as External Relations, Finance, Development, Governance, as well as special event planning committees and more
  • Assisting at concerts
  • Assisting our development department with special mailings throughout the year
  • Cataloging and organizing photo and music libraries

We are always happy to receive assistance from volunteers. If you have any special skills that you would like to offer, please call Individual Giving Manager Terry Williams at twilliams@sdys.org or call (619) 233.3232 x160.

Instrument Donations and In-Kind Giving

Give new life to your old instrument!
Donate it to SDYS and give a young musician the gift of an instrument.

You can help a young person unlock their passion for music by donating your used instrument today.
